Alloy Steel Grade P9 Seamless Pipes are manufactured by carving out the portion from the metal so that desired length is given to the pipe. Since the extrusion of metal is obtained, it does not have any joint in its cross-section throughout its length. In seamless pipes there are no joints or welding is seen and it is produced from solid round billets. The seamless pipes are finished to dimensional specifications from 1/8 inch to 26 inches. Seamless pipes are used in high-pressure applications because of the robust strength it offers. Applications include oil, gas exploration, hydraulic cylinders, bearings and boilers. Documentation of seamless pipes is provided which include the certificate of origin by the chamber of commerce and industry, fumigation certificates and raw material test reports.
